ABOUT REDEKOPP FITNESS

Hey there! I'm Katelyn Redekopp, the face behind Redekopp Fitness. A personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and nutrition practitioner who's here to help you become the best version of yourself. With a passion for fitness and a love for helping others, my husband Chad and I have been in the health and fitness industry since 2018.


Before my fitness coaching journey, I had a background in competitive and recreational boxing. The discipline and determination I learned from boxing have fueled my desire to continue pushing my limits and explore new challenges. 


But, fitness isn't my only passion. I'm also deeply committed to serving my community by working in emergency services. I'm dedicated to keeping people safe and making a positive impact whenever possible. With an educational foundation in emergency medical response and paramedics, I have a cutting edge when it comes to understanding the human body and its systems. This knowledge enhances my ability to guide clients effectively and safely, tailoring workouts and programs to accommodate specific needs and considerations.


When I'm not working or hitting the gym, you can find me indulging in my other hobbies. I love long distance running and the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering those kms. I also have a thing for lifting heavy weights, MMA, and the feeling of strength it brings. And of course, spending quality time with my husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs is always a priority for me. As a family we love to snowboard, go on new adventures and chill at our family camping spot. 


As a fitness professional, my focus is on teaching foundational strength training and holistic nutritional coaching. My belief is that no one should be married to a meal plan or fitness routine! While I'm transitioning to the online world, I'm still available for in-person strength training sessions for those who prefer a personal touch. Together, we'll work towards your goals and create sustainable changes that will last.


When it comes to my beliefs for fitness, I believe in starting small. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is your fitness journey. Taking small steps and building upon them is the key to long-term success. I also believe in getting back to the basics. With so much misinformation out there, it's important to cut through the noise and focus on proven principles that actually work. And lastly, I believe in accountability. It's essential for individuals to take ownership of their fitness journey and be accountable to themselves.
